Our Journey

Established in 2007, Camp Trinity started with a simple heart-tugging realization: summer camp shouldn't have a "members only" price tag. We recognized too many families sidelined by high fees and knew the church was missing a golden opportunity to share The Gospel with families who might never step foot in a traditional sanctuary.

So, a small team with a big vision decided to go all-in. Armed with nothing but big faith and a few brooms, we scrubbed out a dusty old barn, gathered some tents, and invited everyone to come hear about Jesus.

For two years, that barn was our home base. As our camp family grew, we became a "church camp on wheels", as we rented different spots and hauled everything ourselves. This looked like loading up trailers and truck beds with freezers, grills, chairs, prizes, food, and even a large 300 person tent. This was all in aspiration to keep the camp completely free for every camper. Through every move and every packed item, the Lord has provided. Today, the Lord has led us to a place to call Camp Trinity home here in Winchester, Indiana — a place where the gates are open, the campfires are ready, and the Gospel is always free.
